About our school: Located near Seattle Center, The Downtown School offers a rigorous high-school education featuring the City as Lab; grade-level, three-week intensive classes at the beginning and end of each year; student internships; and select coursework through Global Online Academy. With a flexible school day beginning at 9 am and ending at 2:15 pm, The Downtown School allows students time to pursue athletics, arts, music, volunteering, and other activities outside of school. With a tuition half that of many area independent high schools, The Downtown School offers a more financially and geographically accessible high school option for more families.
