"Encounters" is a collection of new work that relies heavily upon David French’s skills as a painter. Incorporating the sculptural elements for which he is known, these unconventional works are painted on either a shaped or a flat wood panel surface and juxtapose a vibrant color palette within geometric shapes. Whether dimensional or flat, the resulting forms are both dynamic & evocative and fueled by French’s keen intuition.
