PORTHCAWL INNER WHEEL Hello everyone, it won’t be long before the spring bulbs start to show. Planning for our spring coffee morning is underway. The date and location will be in the next Seaside News, all are welcome. Our IW friendship groups support many local national and international charities. Donations in leu of sending Christmas cards were sent to the Marie Curie Charity. We are supporting Cuddle Cots, who help parents come to terms with losing a baby or child and Ronald Mackdonald House which is a hospital in Bristol for very poorly babies, that does such wonderful work. We also support Mercy ships, Crossroads, Lifeboats and many others. This year we are knitting for various charities, twiddle muffs for people suffering debilitating brain related conditions. Babies booties, bonnets, shawls, cot blankets and other layette items, for impoverished African babies and children. We urgently need any spare wool that you have. Diana on 784243 or Suzanne on 788351 will be happy to collect it. On a very sad note, we have lost a very long serving and well respected friend Lois Rees. We send our sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed. Suzanne Jefferies
