MISSION MINISTRY PRAY ACT CONTEMPLATE REST

Theconceptofmissionis notnewtothefollowers ofJesus.IntheOld Testament,thereareaccountsof God sending menandwomen fromoneplacetoanotherwith God-directed purpose.God sendspeopleonmission (1Samuel15:20),andwefind thatthoughthemissionof SEASEMisacontemplativeone, theLordattimessendsSEASEM outintotheworld.Whetherthis isguestpreachinginchurches, runningworkshopsaroundNew Zealandorinothercountries, baptisms,conductingfunerals, weddingsorblessings,food provision,orprayerforpeople orsignificantsites,orreligious aidofanysort,SEASEM regularlyreceivesinvitationsto standforGod.Asindividuals, apostlesofChrist,asStEnoch andStElijahMonastery,andas Christ’sChurch,weleavethe SEASEMpropertytodeliverthe Father,SonandHolySpiritto whereverGodsendsus. Asyou havesentmeintotheworld,soI havesentthemintothe world.AndfortheirsakesI sanctifymyself,sothattheyalso maybesanctifiedintruth. (John 17:17-19)

Oneofthekeyelementsof mission,andforSEASEM,is

discerningwhetherGod’swillis intheinvitation.Andifthe invitationistrulyGod-giventhat wemaybesanctifiedintruth. Wehavelongsincelearntthat withoutGod,withoutthat sanctification,thereisno anointingorprovisioninthe mission,andthereforenoor limitedglorificationofGodin thecircumstancesofthat venture.It’strulyvaluableto rememberthiswhenyouare invitedtoattenda‘newthing’as arepresentativeofChrist.Is Godsendingyou?
