European IELTS From January 2016 the NMC changes require all European nurses to complete the “International English Language Test� and achieve a minimum score of 7.0 in all modules, this includes Speaking, Ready, Writing and Listening.


BSc Nursing Degree Our nurses have good clinical skills and have gained experience through their final year working on acute wards during their degree.

English Language We work with all of our nurses to be put through English Language schools to improve their skills and knowledge. We also provide assistance for the nurses in their IELTS exam which the NMC has now implemented. All nurses are screened by our in-house nurse before being put forward for interview to ensure high success rates.

Tour & Hotel Overview

As part of our service we arrange flights and accommodation at hotels of an excellent standard with good facilities and appropriate space for interviews and pre-interview exams. Evenings are often spent enjoying the sights of the city and indulging in a scrumptious meal followed by a relaxing glass of wine.

Bedford Recruited a total of 80 nurses from Spain in 2015 Paul and Jackie from Bedford Hospital were not only great on the interview days, they were also fabulous company for the evenings when we could relax and see the sights of Madrid. One of the candidates that stood out to me was Gulliermo Ramirez Vargas, not only had he travelled 8 hours to arrive at the interview, he had also spent the night in A&E due to a severe headache and sickness, yet he still managed to come along for his interview with Bedford without sleeping for a whole 24 hours. When he went in for his actual interview the whole room was nervous for him, knowing how much he had been through and how he had discharged himself from A&E as he was determined to attend.

I will never forget the smile on his face when he walked through the room as an accepted nurse for the trust, both he and his friends had all been accepted and there were tears of joy to say the least! (See the photo of the group of friends and Gulliermo, above)

INDIA

NMC Registered

Excellent English Our Indian nurses have achieved a high IELTS score above 7 in Speaking, Listening, Understanding and Writing, or have scheduled their exams. To put this into perspective, the IELTS test was given to English 6th form students, who were not able to achieve the score of 7 in all modules.

The majority of our nurses have already registered with the NMC and are familiar with the OSCE programme.

135% Overall success Kings Lynn Recruited a total of 134 nurse from India in 2015 The tour consisted of four Nurses from the Trust who came to conduct the interviews along with two members from 'Search Recruitment'. One interviewer was originally from India which proved to work really well as the candidates found it very encouraging to actually see the reality that it is possible to come to the UK to work. We had some excellent, well qualified Nurses, from which the Trust were incredibly pleased with the calibre. It was delightful to see them encouraging each other and showing a real passion for Nursing. It was a very successful tour with nearly double the

number of Nurses offered than initially asked for. The Trust were quite humbled by the dedication of these Nurses and that some had travelled for over 24 hours to attend the interviews. Evenings were spent tasting the local delights in the hotels restaurants discussing the days interviews and the wonderful Nurses that will be joining their hospital. On one of the rest days we visited the Red Fort, a historical land mark in Delhi. In summary it was a brilliant, successful tour!

Experienced Filipino Nurses

PHILIPPINES

The Philippines have for many years exported skills abroad and have become an excellent source for providing experienced and qualified nurses. The majority of UK hospitals are aware of their loyalty and hard working ethos. Trusts who have recruited from the Philippines in the past, will be the first to tell you how well they adapt and quickly progress to band 6 positions.

Advanced Nursing & Excellent English Our Filipino nurses have either achieved a high IELTS score above 7.0 in Speaking, Listening, Understanding and Writing or have scheduled their exams.

Arrivals & Pastoral Care The Filipino nurses have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience, making it more attractive for hospitals to recruit in bigger volumes. We always encourage Trusts to put on a welcome party to help the nurses settle in and form friendships.

London North West Healthcare NHS Trust We have a longstanding relationship with London North West and in the last year we have recruited 155 nurses from The Philippines, 362 nurses from India and 43 nurses from Europe.

London North West recruited a total of 155 Filipino nurses in 2015 London North West are no strangers in recruiting Internationally, for the interviews the interviewers were organised into 4 interview rooms. Each panel consisting of 2 Trust members, some of whom were themselves Filipino and had moved to the UK 15 years ago to join hospitals here, one member is now a senior member of the team at LNW. After 3 days of interviews we had successfully recruited 155 nurses who had performed exceptionally in very challenging conditions. On our day of rest we took a boat trip to the Taal

volcano island where we experienced the lifestyle of the islands inhabitants. We viewed how the communities lived, this was an eye opener due to the island having no electricity. (See above picture) The tour was a great success and I feel sure that the nurses recruited will fit in well in their new surroundings at LNW and will enjoy a warm welcome from the Filipino nurses already established at the Trust.

The ONLY bespoke CBT programme with a 96% pass rate!

CBT TRAINING

As part of our service, we provide all Nurses with an 8 week CBT training programme to give the Nurse the best chance at passing their CBT the first time round. The programme commences with the training team reviewing the Nurses professional skills and clinical experience to determine the level the candidate is currently at.

PROFILE: The training team: 4 RNs (1 MSc and 3 BSc Nurses) Duration: 8 Weeks Documentation required: CV, IELTS Certificate, E-mail ID, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? After the initial assessment, the Nurse is assigned a trainer who will provide study material and tuition on a weekly basis covering subjects from Professional Values, Communication & IP skills, Nursing Practice & Decision Making, Leadership Management & Team Work and Adult Nursing.

Once all these topics have been covered, the nurse has to take two 'MOCK CBT' exams to familiarise them with what to expect on the day. Once we are satisfied with the score the nurse has achieved we encourage them to sit the real exam. This has proven to be a major success with 96% pass rate.
