As the school year comes to an end, Loreto Girls Secondary School Swords, celebrated with various events and one of them was the fantastic sports day. The sun shone brightly for the girls and teachers and all who helped to organise this exciting event. There was lots of entertainment and the theme of the day was ‘Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles’, and lots of the students dressed up for the event and also painted themselves green. There was face painting, chess, refreshments, three legged race and egg and spoon race and lots more going on. The events where organised by PE teachers Miss Sorcha Furlong and Miss Donna Graham. The teachers organised the brilliant sports day as a part of several celebrations that will see out the great year had by all and used the day as a way to give students a little bit of relief before exams start.
