matter sorts out this way: Peking was launched in 1911 , Pre ussen was wrecked in 19 13-so by 1929 , when Irving Johnson signed on Peking, Preussen was long gone and Peking was the largest surviving sailing ship . But as a quarterly, its "Ship Notes" section simply cannot he j i1lly current . Hence we publish Sea History Gazette, a semi-monthly newsletter that reports de i•elopments in ship presen •ation and maritime history in timely fas hion, with "Page Th ree" editorial comments.
