SEA CLOUD CRUISES

Welcome TO SEA CLOUD CRUISES

Dear Sailing Enthusiasts,

We are thrilled to share this new edition of our 2026 Brochure. At SEA CLOUD CRUISES, we sail in ultimate luxury on authentic tall ships with sails hoisted by hand. Peruse these pages and discover the SEA CLOUD Difference of our five-star sailing yachts, exclusive itineraries, worldclass destinations, and boutique ports that veer away from the crowds.

In 2026 we sail new horizons, reaching destinations rich in history, art, culture, and cuisine, yet untouched by mass tourism. From the volcanic landscapes of the Azores to Morocco’s lantern-lit souks, our new itineraries venture beyond the expected. In the Western Mediterranean, hidden gems like San Remo’s Belle Époque villas, Marbella’s whitewashed Old Town, and Olbia — gateway to Sardinia’s ancient sites and emerald waters — bring Old World charm to life. The Eastern Mediterranean unfolds in quiet wonder with Komiža’s Venetian heritage, Folegandros’ dramatic cliffs, and the secluded shores of Kythira.

Whether overnighting on the VIP island of St. Barths or docking within Venice’s storied canals, our exclusive routes promise deeper immersion and rare encounters, reserved for those who seek the extraordinary.

The luxury is in the details with our private beach barbecues on the world’s most exclusive shores — compliments of our All-Inclusive Fares. Savor the flavors of the destination while enjoying the serenity of secluded sands and sea. And on our new Climb the Mast adventure, guests get the unique vantage point of seeing the sea from high above the sails, 46 feet up on the first platform.

Since our grand opening in North America in September 2023, my team and I continue to source inspiration from your passion for authentic sailing and extraordinary journeys. We look forward to more luxury yachting experiences together in 2026.

THREE SAILING Yachts

The SEA CLOUDS follow a course all their own redefining what it means to sail sustainably, in ultimate luxury. Among our unique fleet everyone finds their personal favorite. What unites all three is a contemplated curation of exclusive luxuries, attention to detail and first-class service, delivering unforgettable sailing experiences.

SEA CLOUD

A living legend built as a luxury yacht more than 90 years ago, this proud ship with a high-society past leads our fleet and inspired the design of her two sister ships. In October 2025, she celebrates a farewell tour before going into dry-dock for an extensive makeover, in preparation for her 95th anniversary.

Pre-dry-dock: 64 guests (32 outside cabins) / 60 crew. Restaurant, lido deck with bar, lounge with library. Total sail area approx. 32,000 sq ft. (29 sails, 4 masts)

SEA CLOUD II

A spacious private yacht, SEA CLOUD II follows the tradition of our SEA CLOUD, interpreting the romanticism of genuine sailing in a unique, up-to-date way. Enjoy upscale suites and staterooms, expansive decks, and many snug places to retreat.

94 guests (47 outside cabins) / 65 crew. Restaurant, lido deck with bar, lounge with Steinway piano, library, boutique, fitness area, massage and spa space, swim platform. Total sail area approx. 29,000 sq ft. (23 sails, 3 masts)

SEA CLOUD SPIRIT

The modern lifestyle ship among our fleet combines the flair of a fully-rigged sailing yacht with the comfort of a luxury cruise, from the light-filled balcony suites and staterooms to the boutique, gym, and spa with sauna and steam bath.

136 guests (69 outside cabins) / 85 crew. Restaurant, lido bar and bistro, lounge with Steinway piano, library, boutique, wellness and spa space, fitness area with ocean view, swim platform. Total sail area approx. 44,100 sq ft (28 sails, 3 masts)

SEA CLOUD

OLD WORLD GLAMOUR

An affluent history permeates throughout this special fleet beginning with its leader, the original SEA CLOUD. Her story starts in the upper echelon of 1931 society, when Marjorie Merriweather Post and her husband, Edward F. Hutton, commissioned a grand four-masted barque. It would be the largest private sailing yacht in the world at the time, and served as a sophisticated stage for their extravagant life hosting nobility, dignitaries, and celebrities.

Throughout the next nine decades, SEA CLOUD would live many lives under various names, until 1979 when she was rescued and meticulously restored. For decades, this bijou ship has touched many, radiating the glamour of Merriweather Post’s impeccable tastes for an intimate handful of guests.

With her 95th birthday on the horizon, this grand dame will emerge from dry-dock fully refreshed with state-of-the-art amenities and technologies, ready for a year of celebratory sailings and events.

DISTINCTIVE DETAILS

While SEA CLOUD enjoys a pampering hiatus, her legacy of elegance and adventure remains as captivating as ever. For nearly a century, this legendary sailing yacht embodied the romance of a bygone era, with towering wooden masts, Italian marble fireplaces, French antiques, golden swan bath fixtures, and gleaming brass details. Guests have always found a perfect retreat, whether lingering over alfresco lunches at the lido bar, enjoying expert-led lectures in the lounge, or soaking in the breeze at the open-air Blue Lagoon. With just 32 staterooms and eight original suites, including those of Marjorie Merriweather Post, E.F. Hutton, and their daughter Dina Merrill, our SEA CLOUD has pampered guests with the intimacy of a private yacht.

While she’s away, we celebrate the grandeur she has long embodied, and anticipate the next chapter of her sensational story at sea.

SEA CLOUD II

TIMELESS ROMANCE

With its own prestigious personality, SEA CLOUD II marries the modern luxuries of a private yacht with the classic romance of a tall sailing ship. Built in 2001 with the maritime family resemblance of the original SEA CLOUD, this second generation welcomes up to 94 guests with expansive spaces to unwind and reset, exclusive outside staterooms, and pampering from a 65-member crew waiting to tend to every whim — all of which earned it a Berlitz five-star rating.

DISTINCTIVE DETAILS

Detailed with refined style, every area on board SEA CLOUD II evokes the luxury of leisure time. Across four expansive decks, there’s plenty of space to linger at the lido bar and bistro, relax in the lounge with the sounds of a Steinway, or unwind in the elegant lightfilled library. Get physical in the fitness room, active on the swim platform, or massaged in the spa. The upscale restaurant features fullservice fine dining where guests come together for one sophisticated sitting.

This exclusive home on the high seas comes with 47 plush suites and deluxe staterooms. With artful interiors, marble bathrooms and small sitting areas, these retreats pamper with comfort and spaciousness.

SEA CLOUD SPIRIT

MODERN LUXURY

Ranked among the best luxury passenger ships in the world, SEA CLOUD SPIRIT redefines the elite experience of being on board and close to the sea. Her design was guided by that of the original SEA CLOUD, with the addition of 21st-century technologies that modernized the fleet in 2021. The newest and largest of the SEA CLOUDS welcomes up to 136 guests, with plenty of space to let your spirit soar and explore. This authentic three-mast ship with 28 sails hoisted by hand is flooded with light, state-of-the-art luxuries, and ultimate relaxation.

DISTINCTIVE DETAILS

With a generous sun deck, fine-dining restaurant, lido deck amenities, and lounge with a Steinway grand piano, SEA CLOUD SPIRIT offers ample space to unwind from the daily grind and harmonize with the rhythms of the sea. A gym with panoramic ocean views and the exclusive spa & wellness area with sauna, steam bath, and choice of cosmetic treatments round out the experience, transforming the sailing voyage into pure pampering.

The suite retreats are designed to experience sailing more intensely and exclusively, right from the balcony. Sail in the nautical splendor of expansive living and sleeping spaces with fine furnishings, finishes, and golden fixtures.

The spacious outside rooms are stylish sanctuaries at sea. Almost half of the 69 accommodation options have balconies or opening windows to take in the ocean more intensely and exclusively. Fine furnishings and upscale interiors characterize the deluxe and superior staterooms.

Harmony OF SAILING SUSTAINABLY

As one of the only luxury fleets to still hoist the sails by hand, we relish every opportunity to synchronize with the wind, sea, and endless horizon, in harmony with nature’s rhythm. Don’t miss the most authentic part of your sailing journey, when the sailors scale upwards of 190 feet into the shrouds, release the heavy cloth, then vigorously tighten the ropes down on deck. There are no buttons to automate this time-honored tradition. It takes almost an hour until all sails catch, using full wind power for up to 50 percent of any given sailing. When not riding the winds, our ships are powered by dieselelectric engines with low-sulfur marine diesel fuel. This kind of gentle tourism is as much a part of the SEA CLOUD Difference as our elite itineraries.

Experiencing local cultures while creating added value in the destinations we visit are paramount to our purpose, ensuring the impact we leave is on beautiful memories alone. We work closely with local companies, thereby strengthening the regional economy. Our tours and travels ashore are designed for small groups so as not to disturb daily life. Due to the small size and picturesque sight of our ships, we are welcomed in many ports that are averse to large cruise ships. For example, ours are among the exclusive few still permitted to sail and dock in Venice’s Grand Canal.

When vacationing aboard the SEA CLOUDS, guests notice minimized paper use, with the daily newsletter accessed through a QR code. We comp 10 gigs of WiFi to accommodate this green effort. Avoiding plastic as much as possible, we use glass straws and introduced reusable water bottles. And from breakfast to late-night dinner, our kitchen and restaurant are organized to avoid food waste.

Five Star AMENITIES

Designed with elegance in mind, every space aboard the SEA CLOUDS invites guests to indulge in the rhythm of life at sea. Across expansive decks, there are plenty of places to reset and refresh. Mornings begin with coffee outdoors on the lido deck, our central hub at sea. Here, conversations flow over a leisurely breakfast or perfectly chilled aperitif at sunset, where a pianist entertains during early evening and accompanies after-dinner drinks.

Within the wood-paneled lounge, time slows. A book, a game of chess, a quiet moment with a vintage port — each guest finds their own retreat. The Steinway grand piano plays softly in the background with an invitation to linger. The restaurant follows suit, where long-table dining turns meals into events, pairing fresh, locally sourced ingredients with wines that tell their own stories.

Below deck, the spa on SEA CLOUD SPIRIT calls with a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, and skilled hands trained in deep-tissue massage. A boutique carries well-chosen pieces for those who collect memories in tangible form. For the seafarer, the open bridge on SEA CLOUD II offers a rare privilege to stand with the captain, watching the artistry of traditional sailing in motion.

On the luxury of the SEA CLOUDS, high-end accommodations are designed with the discerning traveler in mind, all oceanview and every suite an enclave of quiet opulence. Private verandas invite guests to a front-row seat of the endless horizon. The finest among them are defined by upscale interiors with elegant fireplace seating, French antiques, and expansive marble-clad baths with golden fixtures — highlights of the SEA CLOUD Difference. On SEA CLOUD SPIRIT, an elevator ensures seamless movement between decks, and a marina platform welcomes direct access to the sea.

In a tradition of nautical refinement, these onboard spaces, enveloped with polished wood and timeless maritime details, are part of the SEA CLOUDS’ effortless blend of comfort and culture at sea.

Luxury LIFESTYLES

Days aboard the SEA CLOUDS are exhilarating and exclusive, with the ocean always in reach. Be on deck when our crew scales the shrouds to release the sails — it’s one of the most thrilling parts of vacation aboard our authentic tall ships. Or take it even further and climb the rigging yourself!

Experience the sea from high above the sails on the world’s only passenger ships traditionally sailed by hand. Climb to the first platform 46 feet above the deck, expertly guided and outfitted in state-of-the-art safety equipment.

In addition to seeing the sails unfurl, our smaller ships mean greater possibilities, like pausing for an ocean dip, exclusive photo safaris around the ship and shores, and private beach barbecues in secluded bays. We take Zodiac rides to the world’s most exclusive sands and create a culinary celebration of the destination’s flavors. Enjoy freshly prepared local cuisine and drinks, with swimming, snorkeling, and beachside play.

Back on board, turn your luxury sailing voyage into a self-care vacation. Get physical in the fitness room surrounded by ocean views. After cardio and weights in a gym filled with light from floor-to-ceiling windows, cool off with an extended dip diving directly into the sea from the marina platform. Paddleboarding and water toys provide hours of active entertainment.

Then pamper yourself with a spa day at sea. From deep tissue massages to hot stone therapies, a steam bath to Finnish sauna detox, and cosmetic treatments with highend products, our self-care menu transforms the sailing voyage into one of pure indulgence.

Your culinary journey aboard the SEA CLOUDS is most impressive at the four-course evening meals. In our upscale restaurant filled with light from panoramic ocean views, a full-service experience brings guests together for one intimate, sophisticated seating. Combining classic, modern, and maritime elements, chefs complement the menus with regional specialties, often procured in port that same day. Wines reflect the regions visited throughout the voyage.

GourmetSIDE OF SAILING

SEA CLOUD CRUISES boasts a proud tradition of creative collaborations with Michelin-star chefs, James Beard award winners, and renowned sommeliers, who often guest host our culinary sailings and on-shore epicurean events.

Whether helmed by a revered guest chef or our award-winning culinary team, every meal from breakfast to gala dinners highlights the regional specialties on your itinerary. While you’re ashore discovering the destination, our crew is visiting the local food markets. Guests often see us buying local seafood from village fisherman in port. Wahoo, mahi, and tuna in the Caribbean, and in Europe, every local fish that’s on the market.

Each journey is paired with a curated selection of wines, handpicked by the sommelier to reflect the regions we sail — crisp whites from Sicily, bold Bordeaux vintages, or Caribbeanaged rum sipped under the stars. Champagne flows freely, ensuring every toast carries the essence of place.

From freshly caught fish and local produce to exotic spices and high-demand delicacies, the daily menu is always a reflection of the region, sourced directly from local purveyors in the morning to create your gourmet dinner that evening, complemented by fine wines.

Cultivated JOURNEYS

& SIGNATURE STAYS

Beyond classic sailing, the luxury of leisure time often includes celebrated experts joining us on board to entertain and educate. These bespoke sailings open up special worlds only a select few are ever privy to.

Wine and dine with perfect pairings on a culinary voyage, or get holistically fit on a wellness-themed journey. Feed your intellect with lectures. Music cruises feature up-and-coming pianists or VIP performers entertaining on the legendary Steinways. And don’t miss our annual front-row seats on the ship for the St. Barths Bucket Regatta.

We also cater to your cultural side with our Signature Stays. Enhance your journey pre- and post-sail with days in the destinations and nights at exclusive hotels. Get there early or extend the stay to fill your sailing vacation with our exclusive extras including five-star accommodations in port, culinary experiences, and elite excursions ashore.

The steady breezes of the winter trade winds make perfect conditions for Caribbean sailing adventures. Dive the shipwrecks, stand under waterfalls, shop the boutiques, or relax and enjoy the rhythm of island life. The Caribbean is calling with luxury sailings to her most upscale islands, including St. Barths and Anguilla, plus overnights in distinctive destinations like Gustavia, Virgin Gorda, and Norman Island.

Panama & COSTA RICA

From the Panama Canal to Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, sail a route less traveled. Glide through the grand locks aboard an authentic tall ship — an unparalleled way to witness the modern wonder. Then, step ashore on the San Blas Islands, where the indigenous Guna people preserve centuries-old traditions, welcoming guests into their secluded world. Costa Rica reveals nature at its most breathtaking. Walk among the treetops in Carara National Park, explore the biodiverse wonders of Golfo Dulce, or discover the art of traditional sugarcane processing in Guanacaste. With handpicked excursions and intimate landings by Zodiac, these journeys invite you to experience Central America’s most extraordinary landscapes — far from the crowds.

Atlantic CROSSING

Sailing across the Atlantic on a classic route is the ultimate windjammer discipline, and for many, a lifelong dream. The SEA CLOUDS become the destination on the weeks’ long journeys between the Canary Islands and Caribbean, riding the winter trade winds. The modern luxury of our sailing yachts first sets a course southward where, at the height of the Cape Verde Islands, the winds fill the sails. Then the voyage turns westward; every nautical mile taking you a closer to summer. For nearly two weeks, the SEA CLOUDS enjoy optimal conditions and frequently run under sail even overnight.

Horta’s marina is a canvas of sailors’ murals, while São Jorge’s rugged cliffs and famed cheese invite deeper discovery. On Terceira, stroll the UNESCO-listed streets of Angra do Heroísmo. See it all in spring or fall, from Morocco’s lantern-lit souks to a passage up the Tagus River for a most breathtaking view of Lisbon. Unique Old Towns mix with modern city flair along these coasts.

Western MEDITERRANEAN

Sail the sun-drenched shores of Southern Europe, where every stop is a feast for the senses. Savor Spanish paella along Costa Blanca and sunset cocktails at Ibiza’s most exclusive beach clubs. Wander Marbella’s whitewashed Old Town, where the scent of orange blossoms fills the plazas. In San Remo, Belle Époque villas define Italy’s Riviera dei Fiori. And Capri calls with the Blue Grotto’s glow. From the glamour of Monaco’s yacht-lined harbor to Corsica’s rugged coastline, every stop blends culture, history, and opulence in destinations reserved for discerning travelers.

Eastern

Along Croatia’s stunning coastline, explore Komiža, a fishing village on Vis with Venetian-era charm, or wander Trogir, a UNESCO island town of Romanesque and Renaissance beauty. In Šibenik, admire centuries-old cathedrals before sailing deeper into the Adriatic. We’re also stopping at new Greek destinations like Folegandros, where dramatic cliffs and whitewashed villages cast an enchanting spell. Ikaria’s hot springs and scenic trails invite exploration, while Kythira, off the southern Peloponnese, offers secluded beaches and medieval charm. And in Venice, the SEA CLOUDS are among the few welcomed into the Grand Canal.

Costa Rica’s lush nature is especially intensive when approached with a dash of adventure and discovery. As there are often no harbors with fixed piers on the pristine coasts, we land with our inflatable motorboats (zodiacs).

It’s worth getting up early for our excursions because birds, monkeys, and other animals are most active at sunrise and in the morning.

WORTH KNOWING

The Panama Canal offers a unique journey through its complex lock system, raising and lowering vessels over 85 feet as they traverse the Isthmus of Panama. Sailing through the Canal provides a firsthand view of this monumental feat, bridging the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. There is no grander way to witness the precision and efficiency of this testament to human ingenuity than from the decks of our authentic tall ship.

Adding further depth to this voyage and SCS-2606, ecotourism expert Stephen Weston will join on board and ashore to share decades of insights into the region’s delicate ecosystems.

WORTH KNOWING

Cozumel is more than beaches and breezes — it’s a living layer cake of ancient culture, Spanish influence, and vibrant island life. While the Riviera Maya buzzes just across the water, Cozumel moves to its own rhythm.

The overnight stay allows you to linger longer: perhaps diving into the Mesoamerican Reef by day, then sampling Yucatecan cuisine and catching a twilight breeze along the malecón. Just inland, sacred cenotes and Maya ruins hint at stories far older than the modern resort scene.
