Southern Downs is a great place to live, work, play and stay. Located 2hrs west of Brisbane, Southern Downs is a region that experiences four distinct seasons and is renowned as the coldest place in Queensland. Not only is Southern Downs home to World Heritage listed national parks, but also boasts the only wine region in Australia with it's own Geographic Indicator, the Granite Belt.
