DAVID BANNERMAN - COMMUNITY TRIBUTES
David has supported Samford Museum since the formation of a museum subcommittee of the Progress Association (SDDPA) in 1980 during his time as president.
His donations to the collection of historical material held at Samford Museum include bound copies of his publication the South Pine Chronicle and a collection of associated photos. Photos and documents relating to some other major local events have also been shared eg the proposed South Pine River dam site (thankfully this idea was later quashed) and the restoration of the Farmers Hall.
