Drama dominates on SDPB Television on February Sundays as two Masterpiece series end new seasons – Sherlock III and Downton Abbey IV. Plus, we’ll enjoy two new dramas, The Making of a Lady, based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett; and Murder on the Home Front, which takes us to a British murder mystery amid the chaos of World War II.
The Making of a Lady The educated but penniless Emily marries her employer’s wealthy widower nephew, Lord James Walderhurst. After Emily finds herself in peril in Lord James leaves The Making of a Lady. to rejoin his regiment, Emily, alone with his relatives, increasingly comes under their control. She begins to fear for her life.
