Education can be a heavy cost to the family. To help reduce this burden, the Union has been providing free SDA Textbook Scholarships to members and their families for many years. Helping our youth with the cost of education is an investment in the future of our nation.

Who is eligible: The Scholarship Fund is applicable to Tertiary and Secondary students. Parents who are members and have children in these years, or members who are students themselves in these years may apply.

How a scholarship can be used: Textbook Scholarships can be used to purchase textbooks as prescribed on school booklists. SDA Scholarship Vouchers are provided through online redemption at Booktopia.com.au. ballot opens on 1 september: Submissions will open on 1 September and you will receive an email from the SDA notifying you about how to enter –so keep an eye on your inbox! We will send you a link to our website where you can fill out the entry form. How scholarships are decided: Winners are decided by a ballot of applications received via our website form. Textbook Scholarships are limited to a maximum of one per applicant. Notification of winners:
