Welcome to our production of GUYS & DOLLS! This is one of the greatest American musicals ever written, and we are excited to present it for you today! We are excited to have a teen cast present this for you today who have put this together in just 2 months! This is our 5th youth theater production at Village Theatre Arts! Past shows are THE MUSIC MAN, ANNIE, WIZARD OF OZ, & ANNIE GET YOUR GUN! In January we will be doing THE SOUND OF MUSIC, please come back and see this all time most popular musical ever! Thank you to our directors, Dane Morris (Director/Musical Director) and Jessica Ordaz (Choreographer) for all your amazing work and dedication to the cast! These 2 have worked with me on all the VTA youth shows and were in my SCYT & Biola Youth Theater shows as they were growing up. I am very proud!  Heather Chapline – Agatha, Hot Box Dancer, Band Member

Heather Chapline joins VTA for the first time this fall in Guys and Dolls as Sister Agatha of the Save a Soul Mission, and a Hot Box Dancer. She is a home schooled eighth grader who loves art, music, drama and sleep. She has performed in“No Such Thing as a Chanukah Bush”, “Showdown at Shushan City”and “Purim Paradigms” at Ben David Messianic Jewish Congregation. She also preformed in Calvary Chapel's “Saving Grace” Heather has enjoyed working with the VTA team on this show !

Trey Crosley – Rusty Charlie

Trey Crossley is a 12 years old seventh grader at Mariners Christian School. Trey was in Bugsy Malone as Oscar DeVelt and Bronx Charlie & will be in Music Man as Charlie Cowell.Trey joined VTA production this past summer in Annie Get your Gun as Charlie Davenport the hilarious road manager for buffalo bill's wild west show! The fun brought him back for Guys and Dolls & is looking forward to working with everyone again!! Trey also plays piano, tennis and is involved in boyscouts.

Marisa DiCamillo – Sarah Brown, Hot Box Dancer

Marisa DiCamillo (Sarah, Dancer) is a freshmen at OCHSA in Santa Ana. Favorite previous roles include: Annie Get Your Gun (Annie Oakley), The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow), The Music Man (Zaneeta Shinn), Once on This Island (Timoune), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Snoopy), Bugsy Malone (Blousey Brown) and Gypsy (Baby Louise). She also performs with the McCoy Rigby Performing Group and was a top 10 finalist in the OC ICON vocal competition last month. Thanks Dana, Dane, and Jessica!

Michael DiCamillo – Harry the Horse

Michael DiCamillo (Harry the Horse) is a 10 year old 5th grader at Van Damme Academy. Some of Michael’s favorite roles have been: Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr., Little Jake in Annie Get Your Gun, Mike TV in Willy Wonka, Jr., Grumpy in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Billy in Honk, Jr., and The Prince Formerly Known as the Artist in Aladdin, Jr. Thanks to Dana, Dane, and Jessica for all their hard work!


Stephanie Eicherly – Lt. Brannigan

Stephanie Eicherly is a Sophomore at Rancho Alamitos High School. She enjoys acting, golf, and hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank her parents, friends, and God for always supporting her.

Mo Faulkner – Sky Masterson

Mo is a sixteen year old freshman at Fullerton College. This is his fourth show with VTA. Previous parts with VTA include Oliver Warbucks, the Tinman and a member of the barbershop quartet.

Aaron Griffin – Benny Southstreet, Joey Biltmore, Cuban Dancer

Aaron is a 7th grader at RSM. This is his third production with VTA and enjoys it very much. He loves playing soccer and being with his friends. He loves the support he gets from his mom, dad and brothers. He would also like to thank Dana, Dane and Jessica for all they’ve allowed him to experience. He also would like to thank all the support of family and friends that come watch him.

Amethyst Heathcoat – Arvide Abernathy, Band Member

Amethyst, a senior at Orange County High School of the Arts, is excited to perform in her third VTA production. She portrayed Miss Hannigan in Annie and the wicked witch in Wizard of Oz, after playing numerous roles such as Fantine in Les Miserables and Aunt Eller in Oklahoma at Crystal Cathedral High School. Besides singing and acting, Amethyst loves history and English, and hopes to continue her studies next year at Chapman University.


Holly Kanter – Hot Box Dancer, Band Member

Holly is in the 6th grade and is homeschooled. This is her 3rd production with VTA. She is very excited to play a Hot Box Dancer. Her interests include: Singing, Dancing and Reading. She would like to thank her family and friends. And Jessica, Dane and Mr. Morris for putting the show together!!!

Rachel Kanter – Adelaide, Hot Box Dancer

Rachel is a homeschooled 8th grader and is very excited to play Adelaide/Lead Dancer in VTA's production of Guys and Dolls. This is Rachel's 4th production with VTA. She played Dolly in Annie Get Your Gun. Her interests (besides Musical Theatre) include: Singing, Acting, Dancing, Reading, Playing Piano and Writing her own songs. Rachel would like to thank her family, friends, Dane, Jessica and Mr. Morris, and most of all Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Zechariah Kanter – Big Jule

Zechariah is a homeschooled 5th grader. This is his 3rd production with VTA. In the Wizard of Oz he played Uncle Henry and the Emerald City Guard. In Annie Get Your Gun he played Pawnee Bill. And now in Guys and Dolls he is playing Big Julie which he has said is his favorite role so far. Zech would like to thank his family for all their support and Dane, Jessica and Mr. Morris for putting this show together.

Sydney Miller- Esther, Mimi, Hot Box Dance, Band Member

Sydney is 12 years old and a seventh grader at Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School. Sydney is active in the Laguna Beach Youth Conservatory and was recently involved in the production of “A Little Princess.” Other favorite roles include Dormouse in “Alice in Wonderland” and the Ghost of Christmas Past in “Scrooge: A Christmas Carol”. This is Sydney’s first production with Village Theater Arts and she has enjoyed getting to know the cast and directors!


Veronica Ornelas – Gen. Matilda Cartwright, Hot Box Dancer

Veronica is 14, and homeschooled in 9th grade. She is the 2nd oldest of 5. "V" loves singing, dancing, taekwondo, acting, art & Cheetahs. She has done two other productions outside of VTA. Her 4th production with VTA. She would love to be a performer or zoologist. She says Thanks to #1 her Lord God Jesus Christ, her first drama teachers Mary & Mary Elizabeth Hering, Dana & Dane Morris, Jessica Ordaz, & her Mom and Dad.

Zach Relock - Nathan

Zach is 14 and lives in Orange, CA. He is in the 8th grade at Calvary Christian School in Santa Ana, CA. Zach has always had interest in acting. He loves acting and does a lot of plays for his school. This is his third Village Theatre Arts performance, and he has loved each one of them! In his free time he loves to go to Angel games, and Disneyland with his friends.

Riley Stanton – Hot Box Dancer, Band Member

Riley is a 13 year old 7th grader from Trabuco Canyon. She attends RSM Intermediate in Rancho Santa Margarita. This is Riley’s 2nd production with Village Theater; she also performed in the summer 2009 production of Annie Get Your Gun. Riley loves acting, singing, and hanging out with her friends!


Abby Stover - Sarah Brown, Hot Box Dancer

Abby is a senior at Troy High School and a member of their dance team. She has enjoyed participating in many youth theatre productions with SCYT. Abby is a member of SAG/AFTRA and her fondest acting memories are being on the lot with the Olsen twins and playing Jay Leno’s daughter. Abby plans to pursue a career in broadcast journalism.

Olivia Wagner – Adelaide, Hot Box Dancer

Olivia is in 7th Grade at RSM. This is Olivia's 2nd show with VTA. Her first show was "Annie get your Gun." Olivia started dancing at 2 1/2 and began singing at 9. She has added acting to her talents and passions. She enjoys working with special needs kids at church and spending time with friends and family. Thanks go out to her Mom and Dad for their support, Dana, Jessica and Dane for all their hard work, and above all, God for his many blessings.

Zijn Winters – nicely-Nicely Johnson, Cuban Dancer

This is Zijn's 3rd season with VTA. Most recently, he played the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, and before that he appeared as Drake in Annie. Zijn is currently a freshman at Tustin High School and is in choir and plays on the J.V. water pole team. In his free time he enjoys skating, snowboarding, and hanging out with his family and friends.


 Dana graduated from Concordia College in Minnesota with a Bachelors degree in Music with emphasis in Piano. He was the Minister of Music for 12 years at Eastside Christian Church in Fullerton; Director and Founder of Biola Youth Arts and Biola Youth Theater for 4 years at Biola University; Founder and owner of the Southern California Youth Theater since 2000 and started the youth theater at The Village Theater in 2007; Dana has played piano professionally at Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and various theater companies throughout Southern California. But his greatest accomplishment in life is to be the proud father of Dane, Jordan, Parker, Harrison and Meredith.  Dane is excited to be directing “Guys and Dolls” which is his fifth show at Village Theater! He is currently a double Music Major at Chapman University in Orange, in Vocal Production and Music Education. He is a graduate of Fullerton High School Academy of the Arts where he was leads in several musical theater productions including “Little Women”(Laurie), “Into the Woods”(Jack) and “Evita” (Magaldi) and won Macys Awards for his performances. He played the lead role of Alex in “Steps in Time” at the 2000 seat Hyperion Theater at Disney’s California Adventure at age 11 with Eden Espinoza and 30 backup dancers. He was also the lead in a “Nintendo” industrial show at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. He was in California All State Choir and California Honors Choir all 4 years of High School, and won the Orange County Rotary Young Singer of the Year Award his freshman year of high school. His TV/Film credits include “Master of Disguise” (Young Dana Carvey), “A Vow To Cherish (Keith), “Beautiful”, “Judging Amy”, “and the featured lead actor in commercials: “Little Debbie”, “T-Mobile”, “Universal Studios” and others.  Jessica is thrilled to be choreographing her 5th Village Theatre Arts Production, “Guys & Dolls”! Having a passion for performing, she has been blessed with the opportunity to be in over 50 productions. Some of her favorite roles include Belle, Peter Pan, Dorothy, The Narrator (Joseph…), Maria (Sound of Music), Lead Dancer/Dance Captain (42nd Street & West Side Story), Little Red (Into the Woods), and Annie (Annie) for which she received the “Best Actress” award for Whittier Community Theatre’s Academy Awards. When not performing, Jessica teaches at Claylee’s Dance Academy and choreographs for special events at church, school, & summer camps, and works as a background actor in various TV shows. Her TV credits include Southland, Heroes, The Middle, Bones, NCIS, and Saving Grace. She recently completed her junior year at Cal State Fullerton where she is majoring in Theatre, and plans to transfer to Biola University, where she hopes to major in Film. Her goal is to someday make it to Broadway, film, or television. Jessica thanks Dana for giving her this opportunity and for allowing her to use the gifts God has given her to share with others!!
