The Photo Workshop Club emphasizes education and the sharing of experience in both photographic composition and technical skill. All sessions offer a wide range of techniques that can be applied regardless of equipment and skill level.

Photo Workshop February 1, Topic: What Your Camera Can Do: Present-day cameras have many features you can use to produce better and/or more interesting and dramatic pictures. We will discuss how and when to use vibration reduction, HDR, background de-focus, panorama, movie, smile and open-eye modes, redeye reduction. Should you use camera automation or edit later in your computer? Photo Workshop March 7 Topic: Why Edit Photos? - An introduction to Photo Editing Software. A “live” demonstration of how to edit images from your digital camera for more punch or to eliminate flaws. Rotating, cropping, changing color cast, sharpening, changing color to black and white. We used to spend time in a darkroom printing our images. Now it’s possible to improve or repair our images, print them ourselves and even create imaginative works of art at home.

Absolute requirements are to leave politics and religion at the front door and come with the intention of having three hours of enjoyable, no hassle, understandable poker.
