Bishop Xolelo Thaddeus Kumalo of Eshowe in Kwazulu-Natal confirmed young people in the city’s St Benedict’s cathedral on Mission Sunday. Bishop Kumalo is seen with those confirmed, cathedral administrator Fr Victor Chavunga OSB, and visiting Ngome priest Fr Andrew Knott.

Seth Cloete, an active member of Corpus Christi parish in Wynberg, Cape Town, with his parents Sharon and Ronald Cloete following the valedictory service at Reddam House school in Constantia. Seth won the director’s list gold award and medal, an academic half-colours certificate, a merit certificate for achieving over 80%, the fellowship award gold certificate and trophy, and the gold award for serving the community and trophy (shared).
