The Southern Cross, December 14 to December 20, 2011
The choir of St Joseph's Primary School took part in the production Joseph which was directed by Richard Montez from Cornerstone Productions in Texas. Together with Lighthouse Family Church and actors from various other churches in Port Elizabeth, the production was staged at Linkside High School. The cast had only three weeks in which to learn their parts and the St Joseph's learners only had one week in which to learn all their words and movements. The show was a great success and touched the hearts of many.
Fr Thomas Maretlane blessed an advent wreath during a Mass at Good Shepherd in Ipelegeng in Klerksdorp diocese.

Bishop Peter Holiday of Kroonstad (left) ordained Paul Hlonola to the diaconate at St John Bosco parish in Tikwana, Hoopstad. (Submitted by Fr Michael Rasello) Five new members of St Anne’s Sdality took their vows at Holy Martyrs of Uganda church, De Aar, before Fr Bernard Sompane. Fr Douglas Sumaili concelebrated the Mass. The new members are joined by Ms Mnqwazi and Ms Hermans, St Anne’s leaders.
