We know how to create top audio engineers.

Do you want to be one?

Sound Engineering is one of India's fastest growing professions. With an increase in events and live shows every year, the demand for audio professionals continues to rise. Currently, aspiring students pay exorbitant sums to go abroad and study basic courses. Audio Academy was set up to change the landscape of sound education in India. Based in Bangalore, The academy offers a range of in-depth courses to bring out the audio engineer in you. With a state of the art studio equipped with some of the best equipment, which is relevant and being used in the industry globally, Audio Academy offers you cutting edge audio courses with professional guidance. Audio Academy was founded and is run by Niranjan Shivaram, Niranjan is a freelance audio expert with over a decade's worth of experience in the industry. He is an accomplished and well known audio engineer in the country. Having trained with Meyer Sound (SIM 3 Certified), he has worked with Jethro Tull, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden and Metallica, to name a few. Apart from mixing and mastering music for a whole lot of local bands, Niranjan also travels with bands like Thermal and a Quarter and Avial as their preferred sound engineer. As a certified venue instructor, Niranjan lends tech support to AVID consoles in India as well as the Middle East.

“ With the lack of quality, technically trained professionals in the business, setting up a tech-audio school, coupled with practical hands on training and being mentored by industry professionals was the only answer. With a focus on live sound, we are confident that Audio Academy certified professionals will be at par with some of the best. The past year has been very encouraging with fantastic feedback from the industry. The curriculum evolves with every batch, and I’m sure that the industry will have a lot of expertise to look forward to.” - Niranjan Shivaram
