ABSTRACT
This two-volume book aims to help the education of two subjects, entitled Microeconomics and Introduction to Economics. Besides the more than a hundred exercises, the chapters of the course book give a summary of the theoretical backgrounds and the detailed solutions, as well. In addition, the readers can find a trilingual dictionary at the end of the volume. The great majority of the exercises were collected by us during the last years; however, sometimes we have been inspired by the ideas of some other course books, too. The exercises found in the book are adjusted to the local economy, many times containing Romanian data and are based on local examples. In order to realize the purposes of the Introduction to Economics section – namely to motivate the students about the economic way of thinking and the modelling –, only simple basic mathematical knowledge is needed (such as curves, systems of equations). The other part is based on the knowledge gained from the pervious volume; consequently, the exercises need a higher level of mathematics at some points. On one hand, the course book meets the Western European educational methods both formally and in its content. On the other hand, it does not only build upon the local economic knowledge (such as currency, names) but it also pays attention to the precursory knowledge of the Hungarian students, and it leads them step by step towards the recognition and usage of a more complex economic understanding.

Culegerea de probleme se ıˆmparte ıˆn dou˘a mari capitole, astfel ıˆncˆat ¸si prezenta lucrare s-a elaborat ıˆn strˆans˘a concordan¸ta˘ cu programa analitic˘a a disciplinelor „Introducere ıˆn economie” ¸si „Microeconomie”. Volumul con¸tine peste 100 de exerci¸tii, iar pe lˆang˘a acestea, fiecare capitol con¸tine un scurt rezumat al teoriei aferente, rezolvarea problemelor ˆ plus, la sfˆar¸situl c˘ar¸tii, cititorul va g˘asi ¸si explica¸tii legate de acestea. In un glosar trilingv: maghiar-romˆan-englez. Marea majoritate a exerci¸tiilor din volum au fost strˆanse ¸si elaborate de-a lungul anilor, dar pe lˆang˘a acesta au fost folosite ca surs˘a de inspira¸tie ¸si exerci¸tii din alte volume cu aceea¸si tematic˘a. Exerci¸tiile ¸si problemele sunt adaptate la caracteristicile economiei locale ¸si se bazeaz˘a pe date locale. Partea ıˆntˆai a volumului – cum sugereaz˘a ¸si numele – con¸tine exerci¸tii simple care necesit˘a competen¸te matematice de baz˘a (func¸tii ¸si ecua¸tii simple) ¸si are ca scop dobˆandirea cuno¸stin¸telor elementare ıˆn ce prive¸ste gˆandirea economic˘a. Microeconomia se bazeaz˘a pe prima parte al volumului, pe cuno¸stin¸tele dobˆandite din partea de introducere, astfel ıˆncˆat problemele din aceast˘a parte necesit˘a un nivel mai ridicat de cuno¸stin¸te matematice. Culegerea de probleme adresat˘a ıˆn primul rˆand studen¸tilor economi¸sti se ajusteaz˘a la metodele de predare vest-europene, dar ıˆn acela¸si timp se bazeaz˘a pe exemple economice locale (monede, nume, etc.).
