$UFKLWHFWXUH DQG %HDXW\ $ 7URXEOHG 5HODWLRQVKLS Over 1,500 guests attended the outdoor symposium sponsored in part by the SCI-Arc Alumni Association to witness a rare dialogue between architects featured in the book Architecture and Beauty: Conversations with Architects about a Troubled Relationship. Moderated by interviewer Yael Reisner, with Hernan Diaz Alonso, Sir Peter Cook, Frank Gehry, Greg Lynn, Thom Mayne, and Eric Owen Moss, the live format dissolved the pagination of chapters, exposing to the public and each other their positions on “whether they think beauty is integral or non-essential to architecture.�
