What to Expect

Foundational core courses provide you with the critical analysis and decision-making skills required of marketers today.

Learn state-of-the-art digital marketing and research tools and explore new developments in artificial intelligence, analytics, buyer behaviour, brand management, and marketing communications. Customize your own professional marketing expertise with electives such as Retail Analytics, Entertainment Marketing, New Product Development, Creativity in Marketing, and Customer Experience Design.

Opportunities Post-Degree

Graduates of the MMKG program may be eligible for up to one term of advanced standing in the Schulich MBA.

The Marketing Field Project course gives MMKG students first-hand experience consulting with a small to mid-sized business in need of marketing expertise.

Marketing Dynamics

The Marketing Dynamics capstone course has students apply learnings from across the curriculum in an intensive 8-week market simulation, case studies, and debates.

Applicants must produce proof of language proficiency in one of the three ways listed:

• Proof of study completed in English: 2 years minimum (must be full-time study) at an accredited university in a country (or institution) where English is the official language of instruction.

• IELTS (academic test): 7.0 (minimum 6.5 on each dimension). The IELTS online Academic Test is acceptable.

• TOEFL: 100 (minimum 23 on each dimension). The TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test is acceptable.

The Weston Family Foundation invests in innovation and learning to deliver measurable impacts to the well-being of Canadians. We take a collaborative approach to philanthropy, working alongside forward-thinking partners to advance Canada and create lasting benefits. The Weston Family Foundation Entrance Scholarship will be presented to incoming Master of Marketing students who have demonstrated academic excellence and at least two years working experience. Recipients will have been active in their community and demonstrated leadership qualities either in the workplace or through extracurricular activities.
