What to Expect A valuable next step for high-achieving graduates of non-business programs, the MMgt provides an intensive full sweep of management fundamentals. In addition to rigorous instruction in core business competencies like economics and managerial accounting, the program places special emphasis on building skills like strategic thinking, business communication, and managing team dynamics.

Accelerated MBA for MMgt Graduates After acquiring a minimum of two years post-degree work experience, MMgt graduates are eligible for advanced standing in the Schulich Master of Business Administration, enabling you to earn an MBA in as little as eight months.

Pathway to Master of Management Program In partnership with York University’s Faculties of Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change, Faculty of Health, Lassonde School of Engineering, Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD), and Glendon, Schulich offers incoming students the opportunity to gain early conditional admission into the Master of Management (MMgt). The Pathway to Master of Management Program (PMMP) allows high-achieving students to acquire four years of specialized knowledge in their undergraduate program of interest, then grow their business expertise with a one-year MMgt degree. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS – MASTER OF MANAGEMENT (MMgt) GPA

An undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, in a non-business field of study, with a minimum B+ average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work.1

Applicants must produce proof of language proficiency in one of the three ways listed: • Proof of study completed in English: 2 years minimum (must be full-time study) at an accredited university in a country (or institution) where English is the official language of instruction. • IELTS (academic test): 7.0 (minimum 6.5 on each dimension). The IELTS online Academic Test is acceptable. • TOEFL: 100 (minimum 23 on each dimension). The TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test is acceptable.

Applicants holding a BBA, iBBA, BAS, BCom, HBA, or BAcc are not eligible for the Master of Management program, but may apply for the Schulich MBA once they have acquired the work experience that is necessary for MBA admission. Graduates of these programs may be eligible for Advanced Standing in the MBA. One academic reference is required. 3 Applicants with two years or more of full-time work experience are not eligible for admission to the MMgt and are encouraged to apply to the MBA. For applicants holding a 3-year degree, one year of full-time, post-graduate work experience is required. 1

The Michelle Hughes Black Leadership Award is in memory of Michelle Hughes who was a long-time employee of Schulich School of Business at York University. The award is given annually to an incoming Black student in the Master of Management Program with demonstrated community leadership. The award helps create a legacy for Michelle who was committed to advocacy and making business school education more inclusive and accessible for individuals from Black communities. Michelle Hughes was a well-loved colleague and was the Recruitment and Communications Coordinator for the Master of Management program and the Master of Accounting program at the time of her passing.
