- A Stadium Design Workshop was

The SheCanEngineer STEM Day in collaboration with the University of Manchester was held on the 14th March 2023. The event coincided with British Science Week. run by engineering professionals from the SheCanEngineer Committee. The workshop introduced students to the various engineering roles and skills that are involved when delivering an engineering project and got involved in aspects of designing a stadium themselves.

Our Year 10 students enjoyed the day thoroughly and gained confdence in networking with alumni STEM

professionals. It was also the frst time our students entered a lecture

theatre and discussed issues with a university lecturer. Thank you to Mr Shepherd for organising the event.
