Equipment Students will need a strong, lightweight bag for carrying books and equipment. It must be large enough to hold several A4 size books without creasing or damaging them. String bags are only to be used as PE or boot bags. Students will need: • a pencil case with pen, pencil, coloured pencils, ruler, sharpener and eraser; for key stage 4 and post 16 students a colourless transparent case is needed to meet examination room rules • a calculator with basic scientific and mathematical functions (we recommend CASIO FX83GT PLUS) • a pair of compasses and a protractor • access to an English dictionary at home
