Simon A. Mould – Curriculum Vitae Personal Mission Statement To design and build educational programs and curriculum content with a classical Christian pedagogy, that equips a new generation of Christian statesmen and women, called to disciple nations through positions of international leadership.

Experience 2012 – Present: Northwest University, Adjunct Professor, College of Adult & Professional Studies, Kirkland, WA Currently a part-time instructor of numerous courses at Northwest University’s College of Adult & Professional Studies for the History and Social Studies Departments. Courses include: American Government, History of Western Civilization, and Introduction to Geography. 1996 – Present: Christ Church Academy, Kirkland, WA. History and Government Dept. Chair •

Oversee all history teachers, curriculum selections, and history teacher training.

Have developed curriculum and taught: AP European History, Christian Statesmanship and International Affairs, History of Western Civilization, History of Western Political Thought, Twentieth Century History, Understanding the Times & Biblical Worldview, and Biblical Ethics.

Currently teaching and developing curriculum and web based educational services for AP Comparative World Government.

Developed and executed a model National Security Council program to provide a collaborative problem solving educational strategy designed to instruct students in intelligence gathering and analysis, and the assessment of diplomatic and military policy options surrounding present international affairs.

Currently developing and testing new educational online strategies, designing and building hybrid face-to-face and online courses using Instructure, Canvas, Moodle, Edvance 360, and Blackboard.

Developed and led strategic command games designed for students to engage in outdoor mock intelligence gathering and commando raid exercises that resemble a current international crisis.

Coach and mentor the Academy’s Future Business Leaders of America - Emerging Business Issues Team who placed at the State competition.

Providing career counseling, college preparation and academic advice to Academy graduates at Columbia University, U.S. Naval Academy, King’s College, Regent University, and the University of Washington.

Administrative responsibilities: Legal counsel research, media department oversight, IT support oversight, office equipment and services contract negotiation, church and school building security and facilities oversight.

Education Doctor of Education: 2005 – 2010 Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA Produced 550 page dissertation explaining the need for a Christian Statesmanship and International Affairs curriculum that would meet Social Studies requirements. The dissertation involved the design and writing of 33 lessons plans, lectures and assessments which have subsequently been implemented and taught successfully. Additional Post Graduate Studies and Continuing Professional Education Credits: Foreign Policy Research Institute: The Invention of the Middle East and the Post-Arab Spring. 2013. Ministry Management Seminars: Tax, Legal and Management Issues for Churches and Non-Profit Ministries. 2013. M.A. in Public Policy: 2000 – 2004 Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA The thesis involved writing curriculum on Twentieth Century World History. Currently writing curriculum on Churchill, Statesmanship and the Twentieth Century for the Churchill Centre.

2012 – Present: Strategic Christian Services, The Statesman Project: Executive Board Member •

Providing strategy and leadership to an education focus group that seeks to develop curriculum product for educating the church on economic and public policy issues.

1988 – Present: Church Leadership & Ministry •

Preach occasional Sunday sermons, new believer classes, worldview seminars, and leadership development classes at Christ Church Kirkland, Kirkland, WA.

Led successful Home Group at Christ Church Kirkland with my wife for 17 years.

Led Young Adults ministry for 2 years at Hailsham Christian Fellowship, New Frontiers, UK.

Led city and county wide March for Jesus events in southern England from 1990-92.

Missions Teaching Experience: •

Kenya, 2002: Teaching worldview seminar in Kisumu, Kenya.

Cambodia, 1995: Teaching English and Bible for a summer semester with an educational outreach to students at the University of Phnom Penh.

Romania, 1990: Church work and evangelism immediately following the collapse of Communism.
