The Rapid Reasoning Tests provide intensive, timed practice in all the question types that feature in the 11+ and other school selection tests� Six carefully graded books are available for each of the two strands, non-verbal and verbal, and every book contains a year’s work – divided into three for term-by-term use� The focus from the outset is on fast and accurate work and all pupils will quickly acquire essential reasoning skills� Whereas full-length practice tests may be too time-consuming for frequent use, these short timed tests – taking between five and 12 minutes to complete – are ideal for regular independent work sessions, in school or at home� Pull-out answers facilitate marking and a scoring chart with Action notes recommends next steps�
Target times vary depending on how difficult the questions are likely to be for pupils within the age range specified.

Different question types are constantly revisited, with questions becoming progressively more difficult.
