Harrison’s COVID cases see slight bump

HARRISON COUNTY—After dropping two consecutive weeks, COVID cases jumped slightly to 53 since last week, up from 43. Harrison County health administrator Garen Rhome stated that active cases stand at approximately 110, but he expects that number to drop as people recover in the near future.

Another death has been attributed to COVID. The death occurred in late September and has just now been confirmed. But Rhome said he expects a few more in the future once they’re confirmed.
Total cases for Ohio now stand at 1,480,371, with hospitalizations at 76,289, deaths at 23,021, and over 1.3 million presumed recovered.
