Harrison Central seniors receive band booster scholarships
These four Harrison Central Seniors were chosen to receive the annual HC Band Booster Scholarships. These students will each receive $250. The criteria for scholarship is 3.25 GPA or higher, must be member of HC Band all 4 years if high school and write an essay about what Band means to them.

Dowdle’s precious memory lives on through the TJD Scholarship fund. is year, five students out of over 20 were chosen to receive $2,000 each to help towards their college life. ey were: Coleman Dodds, Ronnie Bowers, Caden Arbaugh, Abby Dowdle and Taylor Easlick. e TJD Scholarship Committee would like to congratulate the five recipients of this year’s scholarships totaling $10,000. is year the committee was able to award $2,000 to each recipient. “We would like to give a special thank you to Mark West Energy, Bulldog Rack, Piergallini Tractor Sales-Dino Rents, McDonald’s, Carriage Inn of Cadiz, Sheriff Joe Myers and other sponsors, too many to list that donate every year,” the committee said in a prepared statement. “Without the sponsors we would not be able to have a scholarship in memory of Taylor Jordan Dowdle, a sadly missed daughter, student and friend.” is year’s TJD events include the golf outing, which will be held on July 7th at the Cadiz Country Club with an early start at 10 a.m. Included is a putting contest, hole in one prize, 50/50 raffle and prizes for first, second and third place winners. CADIZ - Last week in Cadiz the Harrison Central High School students put on a mock trial entitled 'Noble versus Yekaterinburg School District'.
