Both drawing and expressive writing help children to articulate their own feelings (e. g. happy, sad, angry, afraid), manage their feelings (e. g. feeling relief and showing positive affirmation), enhance positive behavior (e. g. tolerance), and create positive outlook (e. g. optimism). Therefore, writing and drawing in children may give impact to enhance their positive psychological state (e. g. emotional wellbeing).
