GINNY DMETRUIK & “MEG”

My Name is Ginny Dmetruik I am 10years old and this is my second year in the Bellis 4-H Beef Club. I’m excited to present to you my 4-H steer “The Meg” he is an Angus/Simmental X Steer. He weighed in at 702lb at weigh in day. I’m looking forward to showing my steer to you on our Achievement Day Show and Sale. Hi, My name is Georgia Harty. I am 10 years old. It is my first year in Bellis Beef 4-H club and I am a Junior member. I think it is a good experience for me to learn more about different types of livestock. This year my market steer project is Monster. Monster was raised on our ranch and is out of one of our cows. He is a beautiful black Angus steer. I remember when my mom and I chose him out of the pasture. Monster is very quiet and loves to be scratched. He is also very easy to work with. I will miss him when it’s time to go, but at least he is going to make some yummy hamburgers!! When you see Monster at the show remember that he is very friendly and delicious!
