CONGRATS CLASS of 2018!

• The Office of College Advising helps all Upper School students find their best college fit by hosting application workshops for seniors, taking freshmen and juniors on college visits, and bringing in college Admission Officers for mock application review workshops for sophomores and their parents. • The Class of 2018, graduating class with 55 students, was awarded over $5.8+ million in merit based college scholarships. • Our seniors were accepted to over 73 of the best colleges and universities from coast to coast including California Polytechnic State University, Georgia Tech, Johns Hopkins University, University of Miami, New York University, Texas A&M, and The University of Texas. • In the Class of 2018, there were 26 Alpha and Omega graduates students who have attended All Saints since the 1st grade or before. • Five seniors were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, with two named National Merit Finalists.


ACADEMICS

• Our Lower School Chess Club ranked 1st in East Texas. • Upper School Debate had 13 students qualify for the National Tournament, a total of 42 students qualified for nationals in the last 13 years. • Two Odyssey of the Mind teams represented East Texas at the state competition and one advanced to the World Finals in Ames, Iowa, finishing 17th out of 65 teams. • Lower and Middle School Divisions both placed 1st at District PSIA, and Middle School finished 2nd place at the State PSIA Meet. • Sixteen Advanced Placement courses and 9 new courses were offered in Upper School for the 2017 - 2018 academic year, with plans for 11 new courses in 2018 - 2019. • Ninety-one 4th - 7th grade students qualified for The Duke University Talent Identification (TIP) Program. • In the last 17 years, 75 All Saints students have been named National Merit Scholars.


THE ARTS

• Two Upper School art students advanced to State VASE Art Championship. • Forty-three 1st Division ratings at TAPPS Solo & Ensemble from US band and choir students combined. • Upper School Drumline placed 3rd at the TAPPS Drumline Championship. • Four students received Gold Medals at Jr. VASE Competition. • Upper School Choir won Sweepstakes and placed 3rd at State TAPPS Vocal Music Championship. • One student selected for TMEA All-State Choir. • One student selected for 2018 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. • Three Upper School theatre students received All Star recognition at TAPPS One Act Play Competition. • Upper School Band received Sweepstakes and placed 2nd at TAPPS Instrumental Music Championship. • Nineteen combined band and choir students selected for All Region Band or Choir. • Lower School Music Teacher, Mr. Johnny Ray, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Young Audiences of NorthEast Texas.


AT H L E T I C S

• Baseball Team made it to the TAPPS State Semi-Finals. • Boys and Girls Tennis Teams placed 2nd at the TAPPS 4A State Championship. • Thirty-five student-athletes earned Academic All-State recognition. • Eighteen student-athletes received All-State honors. • Ninety-three student-athletes received All-District honors. • Boys Basketball and Baseball have won four straight district championships. • Football advanced to the TAPPS Division V State Semi-Finals. • Volleyball has won back-to-back district championships. • Varsity Golf had a player qualify for State Tournament. • Our Upper School athletes run a weekly after-school PE program for Promise Academy. • Twenty-two student-athletes have committed or signed to play at the collegiate level over the past 5 years, 6 of which were in the Class of 2018. • 6th – 8th Grade Tennis Teams Won the TAPSAC Conference Championships.


SPIRITUALITY

• For 13 years, Upper School students and faculty have traveled across the nation working with various organizations for their Summer Mission Trip. • Thirty bookcases were painted by 6th graders and donated to the St. Paul’s Children’s Foundation. • Upper School students have completed over 13,000 community service hours over the last four years. • Students built a custom playhouse for Playhouses on the Plaza—a fundraiser that raised $1,500 for Habitat for Humanity. • One-hundred and twenty weekly chapel services are held each year for our students. • The All Saints community welcomes families of all faiths; all our students are celebrated as children of God. • Twenty denominations and faiths represented on campus. • We live our Episcopal identity through five habits of heart and mind: We love, We worship, We welcome, We serve, We question.
