ROADSHOW COMES TO PORT CLINTON NEXT WEEK!

Clean out your attics, closets and lock boxes, because the Treasure Hunters Roadshow is coming to Port Clinton. Roadshow specialists are in town examining gold and silver jewelry, old coins and more. While the Roadshow will accept anything that’s old and valuable, they will be focusing on: gold and silver coins made before 1965, military items, fine art, musical instruments, pocket and wrist watches. Scrap gold is expected to be a popular categor y this week due to soaring gold prices. Buyers for the Roadshow have noticed a tremendous increase in the amount of gold coming

We also buy violins, mandolins, woodwinds – if it plays it pays!” Timepiece specialist Jeff Ford adds, “Watches are hot! We recently paid over $2,500 for an old Hamilton pocket watch. And we are buying all types of high-end wrist watches too. Brands like Rolex, Tiffany and Chopard are very desirable to collectors. Ottawa County Jr. Fair Livestock Sale Friday, July 22, 2011 10:00 am Have you ever been to a Livestock Sale? On behalf of the Jr. Fair Exhibitors the Livestock Sale Committee wants you to know that the livestock sales on Friday and Saturday are open to the public and you are formally invited. For these exhibitors this is the final step of their livestock project where the educational marketing aspects come to life. Anyone can participate, it is easy. Come into the north end of the show barn at the fair grounds the day of the sale, we have a registration table where we will get your information, assign you a buyer number, and provide you with an order of the sale. Is this is your first time at the sale? Be sure and ask for one of the yellow trifolds. They explain how the livestock sale works. If you have any other questions about the sale we will be happy to help you, just walk up to one of us in the bright yellow shirts. We are there to make sure that you have a pleasant experience while you are supporting the exhibitors of the Ottawa County Jr. Fair. You can purchase just an advertisement for yourself or your business without buying the animal. This will be displayed in the barns over the animal you purchased and printed in our Thank You Flyer listing you as a buyer, which will be in various newspapers the first or second week of August.
