STEAM Max Camps include science, technology, engineering, visual arts, math, and culinary. Campers will rotate through five sessions each day. They will spend time each day creating their own 3D video games and 3D spaces they will explore using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Part of each day will be spent uncovering mathematical concepts in visual arts and learning deliciously, creative tricks in the culinary portion of the camp. The engineering design room will give students the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges to increase problem-solving skills. (Cost includes a T-shirt, snacks, and drinks. Campers must bring a lunch.)

This camp will give students an introduction to aerospace technology including airfoil design, rocket propulsion and drone technology. Campers will build and fly bottle rockets, explore airfoil design through rubber band powered airplanes, and fly indoor drones. Students will explore aviation career opportunities with a virtual meet and greet with a NASA, Aerospace Engineer (currently working on drone technology) and/or an international drone racing expert (guest speakers will depend on camp enrolled).

Line Dance Camp

This science-based camp is designed to create meaningful and memorable experiences showing campers the power of science as a lens through which to view the world. The Line Dance workshop is for students to dance, have fun, and express themselves in a creative, safe, and supportive environment. Campers will learn choreography for the most popular line dances such as to the Electric Slide, the Cupid Shuffle, and Copperhead Road.
