I hope you’ll enjoy exploring and learning more about the Greater Irmo community. As I begin my fifth year as the President and CEO of the Greater Irmo Chamber, I am so proud of the work we have done through our partners, our Board of Directors and our Diplomats to Grow A Stronger Business Community here in the Irmo area! One of the crown jewels of Irmo is our schools. We’ve made education a priority here, and Lexington-Richland School District Five is an award-winning school district that is continually ranked as one of the top districts in the state. Our quality of life stands above the rest. We have the beautiful and picturesque Irmo Town Park right across the street from the Chamber, and Irmo Community Park is a fantastic place to enjoy a play date with your children, a family picnic, a nice walk and even an outdoor concert at the amphitheater. We are so fortunate to have wonderful recreation facilities across Lexington County, including Saluda Shoals Park, which offers access to the local rivers. Being a lakeside community, the Irmo area is a gateway to Lake Murray. If the outdoors aren’t your cup of tea, Harbison also boasts some of the best dining, shopping and entertainment in the area! The Greater Irmo community is a special place, and I’d love to help you discover more about our town and Lexington County.
