Schrodt, a certified ice-cream maker, was trained at Koch’s Ice School in Germany and then perfected this knowledge with practical work with the most experienced Maestri del Gelato at the CARPIGIANI GELATO UNIVERSITY near Bologna in Italy.

With regards to social responsibility, ICEFACTUM supports the WWF’s polar bear sponsorship efforts, and they also produce with methods that result in climate-neutrality, with 100 per cent green electricity used. The brand’s creativity and commitment to excellence has recently been recognised with a number of prestigious awards, including the A’Design Award and Competition 2018, the German Design Award 2019, the iF Design award 2019 and the the icda Award 2019.
