WHY I CHOSE ANTHROPOLOGIE

The reason why I chose to create a look book for the company Anthropologie was due to the fact that I am fascinated by the displays that they create within their stores. I wantd to use my personal taste from my personal Antrhologie collection and make it my own with a look book on how one can incorporate items from Antrhopologie but also from their own personal objects that they already own.

WHY THIS PROJECT EXCITES ME

WHY PUT INTO MY PORTFOLIO

The reason why this particular project excites me is because my dream company to work for is Anthropologie. I also am very interested in working as a visual display merchandiser. I find that Anthropologie does an amazing job with displays instore as well as in their catalogs and I felt that it would be a great opportunity for me to create a project that really centers around Anthropologie and their unique displays.

Why I think this project would fit my portfolio well is because it showcases a skill in visual merchandising that will allow potential employers to see that I have created a look book bases on homeware. Also I wanted to tailor a project around Anthropologie that way they see that I have an understanding of who they are and that I am capable of creating a book similar to what they do but with my own twist.

IN STORE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

25

Within the new customer experience area in Anthropologie it allows customers to come and enjoy time within out store while enjoying light refreshments while sitting and talking to friends or family while shopping. We wanted a space that allows customers to take a break from shopping and sit and relax in one of their favorite stores. With Anthropologie there already is experiences with the touch and feel of our products and the smell but we wanted the customer to feel like this is a fun and happy place to take a break when shopping can get to be too much.
