Seaside Classics: It’s hard to beat an ahi tuna salad with a margarita to wash down that fresh fare.
BRUNCH:
Waffles, pancakes, design-yourown omelets, bloody Marys, sausage, bacon and pastries are just some of what’s served at Sunday brunch, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
NIGHT OUT:
One room at Flightline becomes a laugh factory Saturday nights, as stand-up comics from L.A. and beyond take the mic. The monthly Sunday-afternoon jazz sessions are another big draw. Call for dates.
GET HAPPY:
Happy Hour has lots of great offerings: $3.50 house wine and sparkling wine, plus lots of small bar bites, including a $10 burger and beer combo.
FLIGHTLINE: WINGIN’ IT AT THE AIRPORT Flightline has landed, bringing an aviation-themed bar and dining experience to the north side of the Santa Barbara Airport. Owner Warren Butler worked with local aviation enthusiasts to pack the restaurant with flying memorabilia, and Santa Barbara history features prominently. BIG BAR, BIG SPACE, BIG VALUE “We serve wholesome American food for a fair price,” says Butler. That includes, steaks, tri-tip, salads, burgers and pastas, plus cocktails, local craft beers and wine from the enormous wraparound bar. 521 Firestone Road • 805.705.7488 • flightlinerestaurant.com
