Sysamone's first experience with cannabinoids happened before she even knew what a Cannabis plant was. Although she was familiar with the plant cultivated by her dad in their farm's backyard, she didn’t know that her mother had put the herb in her family’s pho broth for years to boost the flavor and aroma of the dish. Her parents never saw the cannabis plant as a gateway drug. They raised their children to use it as an herb that boosted the flavors of their meals or healed their minor health ailments.
