Saugerties NEW YORK

For the hearty adventurer, we invite you to kayak on the Esopus Creek and Hudson River or enjoy a hike in many of our wonderful parks, including the trail to the historic Saugerties Lighthouse. If you love sports, we have you covered year-round with indoor ice skating and ice hockey at the Kiwanis Ice Arena. You can also stay active at our soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, all located at the Cantine Veterans Memorial Complex. While there, catch a game with our own collegiate baseball team, The Saugerties Stallions. Travel along our scenic bike routes throughout the town and village to take in some of our local history.

To serve your palate, you can buy fresh-from-the-farm, delicious edibles from the Saugerties Farmers Market. Or choose one of our many area restaurants with menus that range from informal, quick meals to fine dining. Saugerties is bursting with entertainment too! Take in some local culture by visiting an art gallery, watching a live performance or get tickets to a first-run movie. Spend the day shop-hopping in the historic village boutiques, or be lucky enough to catch one of the many seasonal festivals that happen throughout the year.
