The SATSUMA PRESS WEDDING LINE is a collection of designs that are modern yet enduring, inspired by vintage botanical drawings, organic shapes and jewel-toned hues. It is comprised of just thirteen designs – lovely and timeless illustrations, contemporary but lasting. They aren’t fashionable or trendy, nor do they aim to be – they’re pretty now and they’ll be pretty years from now. They’ll withstand the test of time. You can make your favorite design your own by selecting fonts, ink colors and wording. If, however, you are interested in a one-ofa-kind invitation, I am delighted to work with clients on bespoke designs both big and small. Whether you come to me with a clear idea of what you’d like or with just a few starting points – the palette of your wedding, the venue, the flowers – we will collaborate throughout the design process to create an invitation that puts you over the moon. I do all the work by myself, with love, so what you won’t find is an ever-changing selection of designs or an instant online order form. You won’t be just a name and an order number. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The pieces above are basic components of a wedding suite. Other pieces are available, as are fully bespoke designs. Place Card and Menu sizes may be customized. Prices above are based on 2 X 3.5 place cards and 5 x 5 menus and may vary depending on specific dimensions required. Place cards are for letterpress artwork only, no text; calligraphy is suggested for guest names. I can refer you to a calligrapher if necessary. Custom self inking stamp is $125. For rounded corners, please add $65 to each price category. Please allow 4-6 weeks for printing from press-ready. Rush services may be available for a fee depending upon my schedule. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due before design work can begin. The second 50% is due before shipping. Shipping prices are not included in pricing above. SATSUMA PRESS WEDDING LINE DESIGN PROCESS + CONTRACT To get started on your order, please read and sign the following design process and contract. Please provide your information NAME TELEPHONE EMAIL DESIGN PROCESS // A specific estimate will be provided for you once you’ve completed the pricing worksheet. The estimate is valid for one week. A pdf will be emailed to you within 10 business days for all SATSUMA PRESS WEDDING LINE orders. Bespoke orders can take longer than this and will be determined on a per project basis. Once you’ve received your initial layouts, please be sure to gather all your changes and ideas as thoroughly as possible. Two additional rounds of revisions are included in your estimate; each additional revision within the same design are billed at $25 each. I will notify you if I need to bill you for additional design time or revisions and you will be asked to sign off on this before proceeding. DESIGN TIME LINE // The time your invitations and accompanying stationery take to be designed depends largely on how quickly you make decisions and communicate them to me. If you are certain about a design and need only minor modifications, the design process will go very quickly. If you need extra time to receive feedback from family and friends, the process might go more slowly. Some clients go from contract to design to printing in a few weeks; others may need a few months. Please be sure to leave plenty of time for us to get things just right and be aware that multiple changes can ultimately add to your final costs. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE // A 50% deposit is required to begin the design process. When your invitations are ready for shipping, the remaining 50% + shipping costs – and other additional costs that might have been added throughout the design process – is due. FINAL APPROVAL AND PROOF READING // Before giving final approval, please be sure to proof read very carefully. SATSUMA PRESS will not be held responsible for any proof reading errors, although I do my very best to catch them. Your signature on the final proof indicates that you have approved and agreed to all artwork, text and colors. PRESS DATE AND PRINTING // When I receive your final approval signature, I will schedule your press time. Please allow a minimum of six to eight weeks for wedding orders to be ready for shipping. If you have a quick turnaround, please let me know; depending on my schedule, I may be able to accommodate your needs. Please keep in mind that each piece of paper is hand-fed so slight variations in registration are possible. There may also be a discrepancy between printed color and what you see on your computer monitor. Pantone numbers will be provided for reference. CANCELLATIONS // If for any reason you should need to cancel your order, fees will apply. If orders are cancelled before final proof approval, design fees will apply.
