As the fog rolls in I see it, nothingness. The snow settles along the treetops, like a blanket that chills at a touch. I watch the ice coat the branches, adding to the nothingness, a blank canvas yet so full of life. Suddenly a single bird chirping pierces the nothingness, a red dot in the monotone world. Perhaps it sees what I see, nothingness
