PROLAZ ZA VAN eksperimentalni je film utemeljen na dokumentarnom iskustvu. Riječ je o dugotrajnom razgovoru s gospođom Gabrijelom koja je nedavno izgubila nekog bliskog i iz tog razloga su njene emocije eksponirane i dostupne. Autorska intervencija je, pak, evidentna, stalna i nezaobilazna. Tako je PROLAZ ZA VAN vjerojatno jedino mjesto gdje protagonistica i autor(i) mogu proživjeti nametnute im emocije: provociranje podsvijesti, smjenjivanje osjećaja tjeskobe i ugodnog sjećanja na neki prošli život... Vedran Šamanović (1968 – 2009) upisao se na Akademiju dramske umjetnosti Univerziteta u Zagrebu, odsjek kamere 1991. godine. Osnivač je One Take Film Festivala u Zagrebu, a u periodu od 2003. do 2009. godine bio je i direktor ovog festivala. Godine 2010., na inicijativu članova Udruženja filmskih radnika, reditelja i kritičara, te Hrvatskog filmskog saveza, utemeljena je nagrada za filmske djelatnike pod nazivom “Vedran Šamanović”. Sanja Šamanović je rođena 1970. u Požegi. Diplomirala je na Geodetskom fakultetu, gdje ostaje raditi predavajući predmete vezane uz fotografiju. Koredatelj je dokumentaro – eksperimentalnog filma „Prolaz za van“. Desetominutni film THE WAY OUT ima snagu vriska. Vrlo zanimljivim postupkom autori su kreirali jedinstvenu filmsku strukturu mentalnog stanja, koja nam istovremeno daje odmak od gotovo nepodnošljive boli junakinje filma. (R.Š.)
E THE WAY OUT is an experimental film based on the documentary experience. It is about a lengthy conversation with Mrs Gabriela, who has recently lost someone close and due to this experience her emotions are completely exposed and accessible. An intervention of the author, however, is evident, always present and unavoidable. THE WAY OUT is probably the only place where the protagonist and the author(s) may live through the emotions imposed onto them: provoked subconscious, alternating feelings of anxiety and pleasant memories of the past life...
Vedran Šamanović (1968 –2009) In 1991 he enrolled at the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb, Department of Cinematography. He is the founder of the One Take Film Festival in Zagreb and was the festival director between 2003 and 2009. Upon an initiative by members of the Filmmakers Asociatio, direcgors and critics, as well as the Croatian Fllm Club, the Ćroatian Film Club’s Association, the “Vedran Šamanović” award was estasblished in 2010. Sanja Šamanović was born in 1970 in Požega. Graduated from The Faculty of Geodesy, where she still teaches some subjects related to photography. She has been the head of the photo-group at The Faculty of Geodesy for several years. A ten minute long film EXIT OUT is as powerful as a scream. Using a very interesting technique, the authors created a unique film structure of a mental condition, and simultaneously gave us a step back from the film’s main female character’s almost unbearable pain.
