We meet on the 1st Wednesday in the month except August, between the hours of 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm at King George V Pavilion, Walnut Tree Lane. You will be assured of a warm welcome. We have a variety of speakers during the year and activities include, scrabble, whilst, rummicub, pub lunches and quizzes to name but a few. Why not come along and give it a try. Loose Scarecrow Festival 2018 - Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th September 2018 Scarecrows will be displayed in gardens, on benches and a variety of different places in the village. Please purchase your quiz sheet £2, from The Chequers Pub, The Walnut Tree Pub and Loose Post Office and follow the trail around the village to find the clues to the answer. Vote for the best scarecrow. There will be a prize for the best scarecrow. Refreshments will be served in All Saints’ Church on Sunday 23rd and Sunday 30th September, from 2-4pm. Community event for everyone to take part. All proceeds go the care of the Loose Valley Conservation area. CALLING ALL DOG AND CAT LOVERS ! Benson and I (the editor and Mad About Dog) are helping to raise money for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home by participating in the Muddy Dog Challenge on Saturday 29th Sept at Tunbridge Wells. Loose Footpaths Group Walk on Saturday 1st September 2018. Meet at East Malling Church for a 5 mile walk in and around East Malling including the North Pole area. Fairly easy going. Contact leaders on: 01622 745342/747783/298494 Assistance dogs only Loose Footpaths Group Walk on Saturday 27th October 2018. Meet at 10am at the public car park, The Street, Cobham DA12 3BN. (The entrance to the car park is at the left hand side of Cobham Primary School. Go down the narrow drive to behind the school and into the gravel car park on the left at the end) An easy 5 mile walk with a few undulating sections. There will be a mix of woodlands, grass fields, tracks and a quiet road. Lots of historical interest on the walk. Contact leader on: 01622 739039 Assistance dogs only
