The Vision To create an on-line community, The BN Collective, showcasing Brighton’s Fashion Designers. A united voice for small independent brands all with a hand crafted creative signature and a unique story to tell. A PR platform to raise awareness. The long term aim for The BN Collective is to become a loyal and trusted brand delivering high quality experiential events: seasonal Press Days, pop-up shops and skill sharing workshops.

The Concept • A magazine feel with featured product and designer profiles, editorial articles. • Focus on niche market of heritage pieces, discreet luxury with a conscience. • Subscription sign-up to bi-monthly bulletins, what’s new and tips. • Commentary blogs: styling tips / beauty / vintage / news / cultural trends / sustainability.


The Aesthetic

• All imagery shot under The BN Collective Art Direction, creating universal feel and impact. • Responsive website for optimal viewing on mobiles, tablets and desktops. • Hero designer feature articles on rotation. • Subscription sign-up, social media links. • Contributor blogs.


Mood Boards


Background Little did I know that hours poured over ID and Vogue magazines would become the foundation to my career. I’ve been ‘in fashion’ from the moment my conscious mind could make a decision with what to wear, a personal statement of individuality and identity. Good fortune lead me to work for the designers Rifat Ozbek and Liza Bruce, staging fashion shows in Milan, Paris and New York. As Head of PR and Marketing for Reiss, I launched their womenswear collection and Art Directed their visuals. I then went onto represent artists in several successful creative agencies. Most recently I’ve been an integral part of the Brighton Marathon since the inaugural event, responsible for their Marketing and e-communications. This summer I completed a Permaculture Design Course, ‘Building Sustainable Communities’.
