The run chart below shows the data in over the past 2 months. It was pleasing to see the upward trend this month of all areas.

The final figures for January are as follows ;

Skin to Skin =86.5%

Number of babies who received breastmilk = 82.1%

The data shows our monthly figures for skin to skin can vary quite considerably. Please can we ensure all mothers are offered the opportunity to have skin to skin with their baby at delivery (as long as mother and/or baby are clinically well) and this is correctly updated on CMiS
