September General Meeting

This meeting took place on Friday, September 9th after school and was our first meeting of the school year! We were extremely successful at recruiting new members and had a room full of Key Clubbers! We started by playing Sheep Soulmates for an Icebreaker whereby a chosen member would answer a series of questions and the other members would remain standing for each of their personal answers that aligned with the answer of the chosen Key Clubber. This process would continue until one person is left standing and this person is revealed to be the chosen Key Clubber’s soulmate. We then went over general information about Key Club. We explained what Key Club is, the Inverted Pyramid, opportunities available in Key Club, service hours, and dues. From there we segued into advertising the August newsletter, reviewing our stats from the summer months, previous service projects, and previous events. We then went on to new business where we introduced the September service projects, applications for our PR committee, T-shirt orders, upcoming events, district and international updates, the sheep of the month, reminders, and our website. Finally, we ended our meeting with a group picture outside.
