Honor Society
Staters win their positions in the club through competitive try-outs where each candidate is judged on appearance, poise, and speech. Under the sponsorship of the American Legion, Staters participate in a state-wide convention to study the function and operation of government in a democratic society.
Members of Honor Society are chosen by their academic records and represent the most dedicated and talented students at SFHS. A lowering of the grade average can result in removal from the club which is a member of the National Honor Society organization. In addition to keeping up their studies, members are involved in community projects related to education.
