For this seminar I share insights on ideas, motivations and ways to keep your art inventive and personal. The most important ingredient in our work as artists is passion. Tips and advice from the book will be offered, along with my own struggles, inventions and processes to keep that passion alive. The seminar was interactive allowing questions from participants. Artist’s Talk & Book Signing This one hour lecture explores the “artist as inventor” with insights on how artists keep their ideas fresh, create new styles and stay motivated. Acrylic Revolution in German The first book, Acrylic Revolution, is still a best-seller for publisher North Light, and has been recently translated into German. This book contains over 100 acrylic painting techniques, organized like a recipe book, including painting surfaces, tools, surface treatments, texture, transfers and finishing sheens. A DVD is also available demonstrating how to layer and combine 10 of the techniques from the book into one finished painting.
