Música del Pueblo

úsica del Pueblo (Music of the Community) is the Orchestra’s new adult education program, which offers group music workshops and performance opportunities to community members who are 18 and older. We invite all beginning musicians, amateur musicians or retired musicians who play a string or woodwind instrument to participate in creating chamber music at the Santa Cecilia Arts and Learning Center.
Música del Pueblo participants will be coached on their instruments in workshops led by the professional musicians of Santa Cecilia Orchestra. The workshops focus on improving technique, learning new music and ensemble playing. And each year, the Música players will give a performance for the community. Come for the music, come for the coaching, come for the friendship, come for the fun.
