Latin Flair Sink into Sebastian and Ivan Tkacik’s take on the butterfly chair ($1,200, available at Diani Living, 805-770-7043, dianiliving .com), inspired by an ever-popular piece of art with Argentine origins, the BFK (the original is at the MOMA). A metal frame with hanging leather sling, the high-goal polo-playing brothers’ iteration of the modern, minimalist design fittingly incorporates traditional saddle leather. C . B .

Give & Go
Alanna Gones began exploring the art of pottery while pursuing a culinary arts degree at Santa Barbara City College and recently, along with her family, restored the 1971 trailblazer travel trailer that now houses BESTOW—a space to showcase pottery, textiles, jewelry, and home goods from local artists. “I knew so many talented people in the area making creative, beautiful work but not offering it anywhere, and I’m so excited to be able to share their creations,” she says. BRYANT
With years of experience remodeling and redecorating, Jill Nelsen recently founded HAVEN | DESIGN, specializing in combining clients’ own pieces with textiles, art, and natural elements to create otherworldly retreats. Says Nelson, “I’m happy to see more people embrace living with beautiful everyday items in an ‘undecorated’ environment.” 805-453-6143. C . B . H A V E ND E S I G N.C O
