A few of our favorite things for the foodie in your life Top to bottom: French and Georgian vintages.
Wines from Afar
Since having shuttered Five & ¼ earlier this year to helm the wine list at Les Marchands Wine Bar & Merchant, oenophile Jeremy Bohrer has now started a new wine club based out of the Funk Zone space that focuses on the “geeky and daredevil” vintages he was known for pouring at his former establishment. Each month, the OUTLIER CLUB sends out two bottles of wine (either white, rosé, red, or sparkling, from $39/shipment) that aren’t your typical Central Coast vintages—think Hungarian Hárslevelus and Refosks from Croatia. You also receive information on the wines and the regions they hail from with the intention of sparking an interest in something new. G . Z . T . LESMARCHANDS W INE.CO M
